NBN Speed Tier 100 is the fastest for homes connected with FTTN/FTTC/FTTB connection types – NBN Co. The average cost of an NBN 100 100Mbps plan is AU$10 unless signed up for the free fiber upgrade program. /m more than the NBN 50 plan, but after the last price increase NBN 100 plans are only up AU$0.93 on average (50Mbps packages cost AU$1.66). This can make it a better value proposition, as you get twice the speed for a small increase in cost.

Tangerine says its prices will increase starting August 1, 2024 (only $1 extra on ongoing costs). This means it’s currently the cheapest provider offering speeds of up to 100Mbps, but you’ll need to sign up before August 1 to lock in the introductory price for the first six months of service.
